Many Visitors and the Social Smile

It was only the beginning of Lucas' third week of life and he already learned to smile at pretty women. While we were still at the hospital during week one he would smile after feeding in his sleep. Andres and I called it his "drunk smile" and although we knew it was only a reflex, it melted our hearts just the same. Sometimes seconds after "smiling" his face converts into a look as if he is going to cry, but that is also only a reflex. From June 19th - June 23rd, my wonderful friends the Perkovic sisters came to visit: Mia, Ana and Tina. He was smiling away as they held him, played with him and fed him bottles. Although Lucas smiled socially for the first time as he was held by Daddy and was lifting his head at the same time. During the first month, Andres's Dad Roberto surprised us by coming to meet little Lucas with Uncle Jaime and cousin Jaime. Also, my friends Chris and Melissa also came to visit Lucas and were able to practise being parents as their little boy Dylan was just born on July 23rd. :-) Las Tias Joana and Teca came to visit Lucas as well as the Tios John, Francisco and Marwing. Lucas has a big family, what can I say. :-)
