On May 17th 2010, Andres and I had our Baby Shower coordinated by my good friend Annette. The invitation read: "Join us for a fun-filled party honoring Barbara & Andres with the upcoming arrival of their baby boy! This is not your typical baby shower as both guys and girls are welcome...and no games will be played :-)Appetizers and drinks will be served." About 40 of our closest friends were invited and it was a blast. Annette made a deeelicious cake which we decorated with plastic babies and a bunch of friends helped with the appetizers. We also served wine and beer to make it more like a real party instead of a baby shower. ;-) We rented tables and chairs to set up in the back yard and it was a beautiful day.
